Frequently asked questions

Is plan management free?
Plan management is funded separately by the NDIS. It does not come out of your other support budgets. The NDIA allocates additional funding specifically for plan management fees.
Can I change plan managers?
Yes. You can switch plan managers at any time without needing a plan review. Simply notify your current plan manager and new one, and they will arrange the transfer.
What is the difference between plan management and support coordination?
Plan managers handle the financial side (invoices, payments, budget tracking). Support coordinators help you find and connect with the right providers and services to meet your goals.
Do plan managers choose my providers for me?
No. You have full choice over which providers you use. Plan managers simply pay the invoices from providers you choose. Some offer a list of providers they work with as a starting point.
